We also record your marketing preference. Our website providers may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, when delivering their services. Please only upload photographs relevant to your enquiry. Avoid including identity documents, medical records or unnecessary personal information.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your ideas, recommend an artist, prepare a quote and arrange or deliver the service you request. For enquiries about a potential booking and the delivery of our services, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing that contract. We may also use information for our legitimate interests in managing correspondence, keeping our website secure and resolving queries or disputes. Where applicable, we retain information to meet legal obligations. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to handle your enquiry. Without this information, we may be unable to respond properly. Uploading reference photographs is optional.
Who we share information with
Our Studio Manager handles enquiries and shares relevant details and reference photographs with the artist involved in planning or carrying out your tattoo or piercing. We use service providers to operate the website and handle enquiries: Framer — website hosting and form submission. Google Gmail and Google Sheets — receiving and organising enquiries. Forms Plugin / FramerGeeks and its delivery provider, Bunny CDN — handling uploaded reference photographs. Submitting a reference photograph does not give us permission to publish it or use it in advertising. We would ask separately before doing so.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry details and reference photographs for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and provide the requested service, including any agreed follow-up. We then delete information that is no longer needed, unless further retention is required by law. Service providers may retain technical logs or backup copies according to their own retention arrangements.
Marketing emails
If you choose to opt in, we may email you about special offers, featured artists, guest spots and studio news. Marketing is optional and based on your consent. Your enquiry and booking are handled in the same way whether you opt in or not. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing goldenhandstattoo@gmail.com or using an unsubscribe link where provided. We may retain a minimal record of your opt-out to respect your choice.
Instagram, reviews and external links
Our website displays Instagram content through LightWidget and reviews through Wally. These services may receive technical information when their content loads, such as your IP address, browser details and the page being viewed. If you follow a link to Instagram, Facebook or Google, their own privacy policies apply.
